Hairdressing
Seeing the hair stylist is one of the highlights for many of our residents! While serving as the ultimate confidence booster, it also leaves them feeling relaxed and pampered. Based on the feedback we receive, getting their hair done regularly also increases their willingness to engage in social and recreational events, leading to a more active and happier lifestyle in general.
Chiropody
Foot health is crucial for maintaining physical strength, mobility, mental health and overall comfort. Our visiting chiropodists regularly assess residents' foot health at our residential care homes in Surrey and West Sussex, identifying issues early and providing necessary treatments to prevent further complications.
Social activities and entertainment
While we encourage staying active and socially engaged, we also respect the privacy of those who prefer a quieter way of life. We welcome residents and their families to our quarterly meetings. Through their feedback and suggestions, we get everything we need to deliver the activities and events our residents want.

Each of our care homes has a dedicated, permanent care team that residents can get to know and rely on. Every resident is assigned a personal carer who is responsible for their care needs and well-being, ensuring that no one ever goes without the attention they need. We work closely with our residents to build trusting relationships that help them feel comfortable, safe and supported in our care.
Each member of staff undergoes a thorough screening process.
All Medicrest staff members undergo a thorough screening process, including an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check and detailed professional and character references. New employees complete a three-month probation period and receive bi-monthly clinical supervision. Long-standing staff receive annual performance appraisals, but the most valuable feedback comes directly from our residents and their families.
